Offering high quality kayaks for rent near Chicago, guided kayak tours and primitive camping at locations in Morris(30minutes from Burb) and Starved Rock(1 hour from Burbs). We have high end Perception Cove 145T tandem kayaks that hold up to 3 people if the 3rd person is 70lbs or less. Our high quality single kayaks are Perception carolina 12ft & 14ft touring kayaks.
Guided Kayak Tours & Kayak Rentals
Guided kayak tours are offered every Saturday and Sunday and Holidays. Our guided kayak tours begin with a land based kayak instruction and safety kayak lesson and then you head out on the water with our guides in a small kayaking group to visit the beautiful sites along our sandy shores.
Kayak rentals are available 7days a week May 1-Labor Day.
Camping
Our primitive riverside camping is available along the Illinois River in Morris and Starved Rock. We currently feature tent camping, pop up camping, tear drop camping at our Starved Rock location. Our Morris location has primitive tent camping. Kayak Starved Rock Campground is situated along the Illinois river and features sweeping views of Starved Rock State Park(Starved Rock location) and beautiful sandy beachfront at our Morris location. Campers are welcomed to bring their own kayak for use on the river. Everyone that launches from our locations must wear a PFD(life jacket). If you are not a camper or a kayak renter and just want to enjoy the day kayaking from one of our locations there is a $10 launch fee.
